Gotta like live near Niagara to have any cheaper housing these days.

The commute within the city sucks big time anyways. Looks like I gotta take the damn TTC downtown for the rest of the month for jury duty. Can't even make the full ride one way without cussing at someone.

I'm at Eglinton and Midland. To get anywhere fun, I'm looking at 1 hour on TTC. At least 3 bucks takes you basically anywhere in the city.

Btw, sending you a PM

I mean I don't know the details of how they pay off the house/taxes, but I'd assume so. But in general cost of living is shit here now, so regardless it's probably a bit cheaper to sell off our home (probably worth a pretty penny more than they bought it for now) and get something decent elsewhere.

That could very well be a good idea for them to move.

There are lots of nice, lower cost of living areas on the West coast, especially northern CA, OR and WA.

Yep, if it weren't for this wife and all the granddaughters ....... I'd be a "snowbird" laying around a pool in Arizona .....

I don’t think they’d care for the colder/wetter climate! But it’s certainly quite possible. My guess is if anything they would move back to SoCal, but that’s not exactly cheap either. Going to heavily depend on what value they get out of the current place.

There should be a ghetto strip mall one big block east of you at Eglinton and Brimley. I wonder if the two video game arcades are still there (as high school kids we would go play there till 2am... well until Playdium $25 unlimited midnight play at Sauga was invented).

I don't see a large enough variation to be able to rank.

Yea, me either. I'm just going to have to go with the puppy pile method.
