Thanks, I forgot to add that. Original post has been edited with tire info.

I have seen the data on the website and I like them, but I am afraid that they will not work well on the track.

My setup is Brembo GT CSG in front with PBS Pro Race and DBA T2 discs. Oem with cosworth pads rear. It has always worked very well for me, I do some trackday a year looking for the best times with Nankang AR1 225/45/17 and some fast laps in Nurburgring.

The car is used on the road and I do not like the infernal noise that the brakes make sometimes, so I have thought of CSG Spec CP in addition to the good comments of other compounds CSG SPEC

I have the CP with AP 9660 calipers. I didn't like them on track. I'll post more detail soon.

@x808drifter

After further discussion and some digging, Pat is on the SP1, not the CP, as that is what his shop ultimately ordered.

The SP1 is a true street pad designed for low dust and noise on race calipers, and intended for those who street drive their race setups with the intention of swapping to a CSG race compound at the track.

It's a testament to the capacity of the AP 9660 kit that a pad that was NEVER meant for track use survived track use with a veteran driver at the wheel.

I don't even see SP1 as an offering. What am I missing here?

Only a guess, but maybe he meant Sprint C1?

No, they have offerings not listed on the site. It was an SP1.

The compounds listed are the ones that are plug and play, easy for anyone to use with little to no additional guidance.

There are many, many other compounds prescribed on a case by case basis, based on conversations with the person, shop, team, and car involved.

For example, the 86/BRZ has a digressive, linear, and progressive option for sprint compounds, one high performance street compound, and one endurance compound listed. There's many others that are only offered when a user has a specific characteristic they're looking for, or a specific brake behavior they desire, or perhaps have a unique need due to their aero package, etc.

Here's an example. The 5 fastest circuit supras in the world all run CSG. All 5 run a different setup. While the listed Supra compounds are similar to the BRZ, none of the 5 supras run any of the list compounds, as their brake setups have all been optimized around the data and feedback provided.
