Driving at night with adaptable High Beams
Mazda " Is that a lamppost, reflection, flood lights, or a car? Anyways, I'll just turn the high-beams on and off constantly until I can figure it out."
Try renting an Alfa sometime. Similar experience with the auto-high beams, only you're never sure if the car will turn them off, set off the alarm, generate an active aero fault, or pop the trunk.

I had an Alfa once, boxer engine.. Momo steering wheel, and red! Sounded great but that's about it.. awful driving position, very interesting gas guage, it used move constantly depending on whether the car was speeding up or slowing down.. didn't keep it too long, it left keeping its dignity intact..

I've only put about 11k on it, but some things haven't changed it seems. No boxer engine, but the fuel gauge is still suspect and the speedometer is... optimistic. Seating position is great, but the seat is low and behind the front door, so you fall into it and have to climb out of it even more than a lowered BRZ. Overall the car is reliable in the sense that there have been no limp modes or real faults, but the thing has a lot of quirks for being a newish car.

Very nice, but still don't think it tops the AIR-2A Genie we talked about a year ago after my visit to Robins Air Force Base Museum.
