Are you like me, and the last gti you liked was the mk4 gti r32? That way my favorite one. I understand that the golf r was more powerful and less weight. But they just got bigger. Idk, I like small cars.

They just got kinda big and blocky and I didn't like it.

Are you complaining about the GTI being "larger" now since its no longer available as a 2 door? Because the Mk7 isnt a large car. Mine weighs 3000 lb and is shorter than my Integra GS-R (which it replaced) and shorter than my Cayman S. How is that large?

Add in the active LSD that you can feel rotating the car in hard turns and it seems like a pretty competent vehicle. Toyota has their work cut out for them.

I agree.

The Yaris GR4 has a lot of character, which is tough to find these days. It's a completely absurd car which is why it's so exciting to me.

And I'm not anti-FWD...had a 2005 Mini Cooper S and loved it.

I'm not against FWD, but they have to be good. I've had quite a few good handling pocket rockets, loved them all..

The Yaris GR4 is one of the few cars I was truly excited for. It had awd, turbo motor, manual, it seemed like the perfect package.
