Ignition Retard in gear

I have a problem with my ignition retarding in gear. I only happens rolling, in gear, specifically noticeable with the clutch in while coasting and blipping the throttle. Not moving or not in gear its not there. Its like the transient Ignition Retard map but only in gear and moving. It can't be though because that map doesn't have numbers in this area to bring the ignition timing down this much. I am getting about a -20 difference between out of gear and in gear. Some times ignition is past TDC. Only have I have found is the minimum Ignition timing map but that is more of a band aid. Something has not be requesting the timing retardation.

There is a table called in ecutek " Ignition timing compensation while clutch down"
in romraider i dont remember how it s called, it s in the ignition timing - compensation folder, and has "MAP (Clutch)" in the name

it 's because of that map

i reduced quite a bit the retard in every cells of that table but the last 2 (large throttle blips that cause the manifold pressure to go over 0.8bar)

I either didn't see it or they defined it this summer. I hadn't updated all summer and just updated this afternoon. That has to be it. Thanks.

Do you have ecutek?

yes they defined this summer actually, together with ignition compensation per cylinder

Yes ecutek. I just noticed it after my update.

Setting it to zero does cause tip in knock with quick throttle inputs but only with the clutch pushed in. I am not sure why or what is causing the the tip in knock. This table must exist because knock is being cause by something else that isn't present normally. Only seems to be active when the clutch is pushed in, the transmission is in gear and rolling. Could there be some compensation table that reduces injector pulses width during gear changes to reduce emissions? Or is the D4S switching it PI for this? Have you tried logging to see what the change is? I will try on my way home.

Dunno, but dont zero it... just reduce them keeping the last 2 at about 11 / 19
the rev matching with clutch down improves a lot
