It makes sense, but i don't know if it makes sense or will be accepted as such in the overall bond lore.

As far as i know Bond himself has always been 007, and if there were any other agents they would have had a different 00 number. (like Alec Trevelyan in Goldeneye was 006).
So any new take on the bond franchise could be:

-Recast Bond as the new 007
-This lady is the new 007, but she isnt bond
-This lady is a new 00 agent, set in the bond world that replaces bond.
-They definately dont seem to be going with the female "Jane Bond" route though.

I think everyone pretty much agrees that Bond is, and will always be a male, and can be regardless of race/color. 007 on the other hand can be given to anyone who portrays an MI6 agent.
They still end No Time To Die with "James Bond will return" so I think the female 007 thing was a one off. Barbara Broccoli has said a few times that Bond won't be female, so I doubt we see that change while she is in charge at least.

I always find it hard to try and judge a new Bond in advance since we have no idea what direction they will take the film. It's like listening to the movie's theme song without the intro. Hopefully it's just like a reboot with the next Bond and they make those films like it's own mini universe.

Very straight forward guy and no nonsense. I watched that video as I was building mine.

A few additional tips.
-Fan Cabling orientation makes a difference when dealing with cable management. Chances are that you will place it in the wrong orientation and realize only after once you begin to tuck stuff in. What I recommend is just to experience that because it builds that extra knowledge.

-BIOS updates, some MOBOs do not come updated, so if your computer does not post, chances are you need to update the MOBO. Look for a USB port that says "BIOS FLSHBCK", if available, and use that, follow instructions on your MOBO user guide. Only after that you can move on to a possible issue with RAM, CPU, Battery.

-If you haven't done so, get a fully modular PSU, you'll thank me later.

-CPU will only go in one way, if it doesn't, don't force it. It should slide right into the socket.

-Only a small drop of thermal paste is needed.

-RAM should be the same brand and specs if using multiple slots.

-Patience is key

There's a lot more I could say but I don't know the extend of your PC building knowledge. But have fun!

That's all great. I have very limited knowledge as this will be my first time. I did get the same RAM, but I only have a semi modulare 750w PSU from my current PC that I am going to try and use to keep cost down, but we'll see how it goes.

I have a bunch of fans and other parts I can send you if you want them. Better thermal paste, AIO pump, etc.

semi modular is fine, it'll still help considerably with cable management, especially if your case is on the smaller size.

RAM used to be super sensitive to brands and timings but not so much nowadays. However when using multiple sticks, (and you should, when using at least 2 sticks the computer runs in dual channel mode which has something like 30% more performance over a single stick in single channel mode) they should to be paired appropriately (same speed, same timings, same brand), and placed in the slots appropriately as well. You'll notice that most RAM kits come like this.

If the motherboard has 2 RAM slots, thats a no brainer. If it has 4, they're usually labelled A1/A2, and B1/B2, and the slots are usually colour matched.

You want to pair them as A1/B1 (A2/B2), which would also be the colour match.
I think you can pair them as A1/A2 if you want but its supposed to be better when they're colour matched (i stopped reading/caring about the intricacies about why things are the way they are....so i just set it up the way the manual would tell me is the ideal way)

I think you can still pair 2 random sticks together, but in the computer world everything will run at the level of the weakest link (so if there are 2 speeds of ram, it'll run using the specs of the slower one). And having 2 completely different sticks may not efficiently.

But the age old question, is 16GB enough RAM or is 32 the new standard?!

I would say 8GB is the minimum to run Win10, 16GB is the ideal, and theres always room for 32gb

I'd also say that if your system RAM is equal to the amount of GPU RAM you have, its time to upgrade that system RAM

My main Rig is a Ryzen 5 2600X @ 3.6ghz, 16GB DDR4 RAM and a Radeon RX6600 8gb.

And I have another retired work PC that I inherited and will use that as a living room "console" PC. It was equipped with an intel i7 3770, 16GB DDR3, Nvidia Geforce 440 GT, 1TB HD and a generic 350watt PSU which seems underspecced but somehow didnt burn out.
I have replaced the PSU with a 750 watt unit, the HD with a 980gb SSD, and the GPU with a 4GB Radeon 290

I had a 1TB nvme SSD i had lying around that i wanted to use for this but the PC is so old it doesn't even have an NVME slot. So now i'll put it in my main rig.

Oh I just like joking about the RAM thing since it’s always that controversial subject. Like thermal paste amount lol

Here's what my build is looking like so far.

Ryzen 5600x
MSI B550-A Pro mobo
Nvidia 3060ti
Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 (2x8Gb 3600mhz)
Cooler Master Hyper212 Evo cpu cooler
Corsair CX750-M psu
Corsair 220t case

Gonna keep whatever SSD/HDD I have for now, but need to upgrade as their fairly small. I think the SDD is 256 or 512 and the HDD is 1TB.

Appreciate the offer but I think I'm good. I have a couple Noctua fans in my current case that I'll move over. Also not going the water cooled route, trying to keep it simple for the time being.

Yeah, the RAM i bought came as 2x8GB. Figured Id start with 16Gb and go from there. Compared to my 8Gb of DDR3 currently I'm sure it'll be fine lmao

No problem. I'd say that is a very fair build. That CPU and GPU will offer plenty of performance. As for SDD, Samsung 970\980 Pros should be fairly cheap now and allow for faster load times and bigger storage. ADATA XPG PRO is also a very solid one too. Do keep in mind that newer games nowadays, at minimum, take up to 50GB, so you can run out space fairly quick. 16GB of RAM is pretty good, I have the same one as you.

Other than that, I like the build. Post some pictures once you're done!
