Perrin mounts? Move the jack supporting the engine in the direction you want it to go, you may need to clearance your subframe, I did.

Yes, Perrin instruction says I can use a prybar to move the engin around but it seems it doesn't budge no matter how hard I tried...I can't move the trolls jack either....- -!

I reviewed this thread while waiting for the post man to throw a box of Perrin Motor mounts on my door step.

As other stated, I chose to muscle f*#K the oem driver side mount out, instead of removing the header to make clearance. It took maybe 10 minutes of wiggling and manipulating to get it out, maybe I just got lucky? Running Gruppe-S UEL header, which has no cat, so maybe that helped too.

I replaced mine with the STI ones and love it! But I completely relate with your story! A job that is supposed to take 30-45, and end up spending 3 hours+ under the car, to the point where you're way to tired to get angry anymore.
You know what is worse? The next day muscle soreness...when you get off the bed like "oh I got this" and 5 sec later "who beat me all night?" I am sure I have been in that position at least five times when I said "next time I will pay someone to do it"!

In light of the valve spring recall my engine will be out, recommendations on motor mounts? I thought it'd be a pretty quick change w/ the engine removed.
