How tall are you?
I was going to ask this in the general topic thread... but thought to keep it off topic cuz it is off topic
Anyways, after reading one of the thread made me think how many tall members we have here? I, myself am not that tall (5'10~11")... but fairly tall for Japanese. Let the vote begin~ |

All my Asian female friends have been around that height, 5'~5'3" (not offending you or anything). I haven't seen Asian girl (Japanese, Chinese, Korean, those area of Asia) that hit over 5'5". I'm pretty sure there's some... but it's rare. I wonder it's in DNA or something

Thanks, both of my parent's side have tall male members. Mother side is grandfather is bout 5'9" (granduncle tell me grandfather used to be around 6'). Father side, all the guys are over 5'8". I don't know any members that is lower than 5'10". I think, I might be shortest one in my father's side. But women side is always short for both side (5'1"~2" max)

I'm 174cm translated into 5ft8.5".
And I agree with Ichi, it's very rare to see an Asian girl who is taller than me. I have come across a few tho. Nice legs. Edit: @Giccin, my female partner in Taekwondo class was 2meters. I was like "well, can I pair up with someone else". Bahaha |

Well the reason it's so funny to them, I'm from tx, and 80% of the guys where I work are "big guy should be in a big truck" type guys and I'm bigger then a lot of them so they think it's funny that I like imports, if I go to a car show or meet they call it a "f&f convention" but then I laugh when they try to mess with me on the highway with a mustang or new camero or new challenger, cause then they just fade away rather fast

Damn Mel, you're only 135lbs!?! You have to eat some more lechon and tapsilog!
I'm 6'2 198 lbs. Most my cousins that were born here are pretty tall too. I have one cousin up in Washington that's a junior in h/s and he's already 6'3. My mom's side is from the Eastern Visayas in the Philippines which had a high Spanish influence. My mom is what we call "mestiza" Wikipedia After the Magellan expedition, King Philip II of Spain sent Ruy López de Villalobos and Miguel López de Legazpi in 1543 and 1565 and claimed the islands for Spain. The Visayas region and many tribes began converting to Christianity and adopting western culture. By the 18th and 19th centuries, the effects of colonization on various ethnic groups soon turned sour and revolutions such as those of Francisco Dagohoy began to emerge.
