lol. OP comes on for "advice" but already had already decided to buy it when he posted. Every member on here is telling you to stay away but you're attracted to the mods enough to pay more for a car that's been in an accident + an engine swap.

Never buy a pre-owned car because of existing mods. Body and mechanical condition is always more important. Before you agree to buy the car, at the very least take the car to a reputable local body shop to ensure the repairs for its accident were done right. Couldn't hurt to take it for a mechanical inspection prior to the purchase as well.

Yes. Don't buy a badly modded one with parts broken and missing!

Hope you talked them way way way down.

I own a 13 and wouldn't buy another one because of first year issues, valve spring recall etc. I would get one a little newer that wasn't modified. They're around. Just need patience

And I would have sold you a 2015 BRZ Series Blue for less than you probably paid too.. with less miles as well.

Enjoy the new car though!

Fender liner being gone is just the sign of a shitty repair from the accident. I'd love to see how bad the rest of the repairs were if they were too cheap/lazy to replace a damn wheel liner.

Replacement engine isn't a bad thing really.. especially in a 13 if it was repaired under the recall ha
