Nice! I’m always tempted by the tomei 60s for the weight savings but I’ve heard it’s loud. I imagine the 80 must be a beast.

It’s much quieter at idle tbh, but for the most part it is extremely loud, I just hope I don’t get into any trouble when I go to the track.

Bumped the idle tables (all nine of them!) up by 50-100 RPM throughout the range. Sounds/feels much better, now. I think I may need to rescale my MAF a touch, but need to watch more logs to confirm.

Finally got around to making a center high mount stop light. Amazon LED strip + scrap carbon fiber piece + aluminum strip attached to a rivnut in the plastic rivet hole. Completely invisible from the driver seat and no 3M tape on the window!

I'm going to drop the trans on mine to see why the clutch stops working when it gets hot.. and maybe order a new clutch if I can't spot anything wrong as this problems ruins a track weekend.

no, it's facing back and down slightly. if you look down the center, you can see the 5mm led's horizontal with the circuit board connecting facing vertical.

Continued the great Dynamat experiment this weekend, getting the back seat area done. Next up will be yanking out the front seats/console/carpet to do the rest of the floor. Gotta say I'm pretty happy with the results so far, considering I've only added about 3.6lb to the car. Might get away with skipping MLV altogether.

^it looks weird to see someone actually use sound dampening as it should be used instead of slathering every panel with full sheets of the stuff

Can never be too safe. I put a pair of stands under the front too after I snapped the pic.
