Any interest in Mann Engineering "Type-25" coilovers (https://www.mann-engineering.com/ind...t86-25581.html)

They're the inverted version of the above, AKA AST 5100s. (https://www.vividracing.com/ast-susp...150919208.html) (https://www.facebook.com/ast.suspens...9818056532099/)

Off the shelf 6k/7k spring rates. No top hats. Were on my car for two years and ~15k miles. One of the rears has a sticky substance on the threads which leads me to believe it is leaking, so honestly all 4 corners should be rebuilt/revalved by Performance Shock at Sonoma Raceway who is an authorized AST service center. They quoted me at $200/corner for rebuild service, plus any applicable necessary parts for example if you wanted to go with the digressive piston, etc. "Our standard service includes full disassembly and inspection, replacement of seals and oil and dyno testing."

I paid $2,449 for them. Asking $1,000 picked up.

Edit: $900 picked up in Alameda. This is BC Racing level pricing, for a system that once rebuilt will perform on the track with the likes of JRZ, Moton, Ohlins, etc.

Edit 2: While cleaning them tonight I noticed one of the front springs is chewed up and has some corrosion on it. Probably from rotating while bound up or compressed. A new set of 6k Swift springs is about $200. Lowering price accordingly to $600. This is a great deal, these have a lot of potential to do exactly what you need them to do and $600 is an extremely low cost of entry to get some great track competition coilovers. Pics coming shortly.

Edit 3: Pics posted.

Edit 4: Dropping price to $500 picked up in Alameda. Would like these gone by the weekend.

$500 plus $800 for the rebuild service, plus $200 for new springs = $1,500 total to get you a custom valved set of high performing coilovers. That's ~$1k savings off buying new.

Edit 5: I guess this is a pretty specialized thing, not seeing any interest at all. Maybe people just don't want to deal with having coilovers rebuilt? I guess the fact that they need $1k worth of work is not very enticing.

Would there be any interest for these at $200? $100?

Edit 6: How about fucking free? I will literally give these to away to a fellow twin owner who will actually get them rebuilt and put them to use.
