Shipping is going to be costly due to size and the duties. Keep that in mind...

i've contacted the seller to find out what shipping and handling comes to. It will probably be cheaper to buy a few at once i reckon. he has three available, one for me, 2 for whoever else wants one
i've also found this BRZ boot mat, which would be ok, but doesn't look nearly as cool:

still no response from the seller, so much for credible service..
anyway surely if it is a genuine toyota part (as he claims) it should be available from other sources, yet searching by part number Google comes up empty..

When money is on my side again I'm going to try and get a friend of mine in Australia to see if her local dealer can source it and get her to send it to me.

from what i've discovered so far, it's made in OZ by a local manufacturer but has been discontinued since (for whatever unfathomable reason). The cars in Oz came standard with this cover till the end of august last year. for some reason, this seller seemed to have a bunch of them and is just offloading. there are currently only 2 left but i can't order them b/c he hasn't specified international shipping so ebay doesn't let me complete the purchase.
if anyone here can provide an AU delivery address and find someone on that side to ship it, i'll order the last two and i'll cover the shipping costs

edit: it now says 0 available

@Vladror
You are aware that Toyota will stop spare wheel and replace with puncture repair kit soon. Whether this happen in SA as our laws my require spare, so watch the space.
A suggestion would be to build your own cover for the back, Masonite board with good carpet to match, would cost you under R300.

Will look something like this

But that's work... Maybe I'll take out the stock panels to make outlines and to take measurements.

Another option which the boot hood liner is made of. You know the plastic divider boards used between empty cans, used by Nampak. This is what the hood liner is made from, very easy to cut and stick carpet on.
A lot options to consider to save money.
Even a audio shop will make up for you, quoted me R500 odd if you not keen to try it yourself.

I burnt bringing in the hood liner, shipping was expensive due to size and for some reason got nailed on the tax and duties for this item.

Just sharing what I went through. Use it loose it.
