Advice on Buying Used Wheels with Unknown Offset

Hello. I found a great deal on some used, discontinued 18x8 Weds wheels. I’ve never seen them on a twin, but I think they would look great. There’s a couple things I’m concerned about, however. First, the bolt pattern is 5x114.3 which is fine because I can just get a conversion spacer. The issue is that the owner doesn’t know what the offset of the wheel is so if it’s something low, the wheels would poke out with the necessary spacer added (I’m on stock suspension and plan to keep it that way for now). The other thing I found odd was that the seller stated the 4th wheel was damaged so he bought 2 off of someone else. That’s fine with me as long as they are the same spec. Is there any way to find the offset of the wheel? Any issues with anyone else running conversion spacers? Thanks

Wheel size and offset is typically stamped inside the wheel barrel. The owner will need to remove one of the wheels and check inside the barrel...

Thanks. He has pictures of the inside of the barrel, but I can’t read what it says. I’ll ask him to check.

If it's not on the barrel, it is sometimes on the inside of the hub face.
