Senna was incredible. Such a tragedy to lose such a talent and person at so young and age.

What was that Jackie Chan movie where he played a racing driver? I loled when I watched it because all of the driving scenes were sped up.

I can't stand that movie for some reason. I love The Anchorman.

I'm appalled! How can you like Anchorman, but not Talladega Nights? His prayers were classic.

I honestly LOVE them, and am currently in a 1-a-week Marathon of the series right now. Friday is FnF4 (the worst one lol)...

So add Fast and Furious, 2 Fast 2 Furious, FnF: Tokyo Drift, The Fast and the Furious, and Fast Five to that list.
I agree. If it wasn't for those movies, the car scene probably wouldn't be as far as it is today. They aren't the greatest movies but they sparked interest in tons of people to get into the hobby.

I was on set of the first 3 and while the cars aren't that cool to me now, they were a big inspiration for me as a kid

I'll give credit where credit is due, and its true that those movies (especially the first) sparked enough interest to make the aftermarket more readily available, and a bit cheaper, for the lot as whole.

But just because the movies created a movement, doesn't not mean the movies themselves were great movies, and in terms of great car movies, I wouldn't have any of them at the top of my list.

Senna and Love the Beast are both amazing car documentaries. I can especially connect to Love the Beast, as should any enthusiast who has owned one car for as long as they can remember and has grown an emotional attachment to it.

Of great car chase scenes in movies, no one mentioned The Bourne Identity? OG Mini ftw.

Not sure if Best Motoring International counts as a movie...but they're hands down some of the best car videos to watch. JDM Insider was good too.

When I saw the first F&F movie, I thought it was a comedy..they got so many things just plain wrong with the whole street racing thing. "NOS"? WTF is "NOS"?
It's nitrous oxide, noob. you know, spray, squeeze, laughing gas...Pahahaha! The only thing those movies did was convince the kid with the clapped out Honda Civic that his car was as fast as my '69 Mustang....a cone air filter and a fart can muffler does not a race car make. Anyway, favorite car movie? The Gumball Rally. Where else can you see a real Ferrari Daytona Spyder go up against a real Shelby 427 Cobra?
