I see insulation on your high pressure A/C lines. Increase cooling? Noise reduction? Birth control?

Birth control. The answer is always birth control. lol

It helped get cooler temps in my previous car, so I figured it should also help in the FRS.

Reinstalled winter tires. Forgot how fun 16" wheels are.. I might need to switch to a 16" wheel in the summer.

Also gave it a bath, prepped the windshield and coated with aquapel.

Pulled out the dashboard piece underneath the steering wheel to investigate a rattle. Turns out there is a thermistor, and if it is disconnected the aircon would not get cold, unless it is only set to LO.

Installed the two whiteline diff bushing inserts. My combo is now perrin engine mounts at the front, sti trans mount in the middle, and those two at the back. I used to have a perrin trans mount as well and I have to say I miss it. I don't miss the noise but I miss the feel. The sti trans mount is just not the same, still too mushy

Snow is coming tonight, may be one of the last times I could drive it so I gave the suspension pieces a final snugging up, wiped fingerprints off the hood and got a friend to record a little rip. The tires are 100tw so they have absolutely no chance of hooking when it's 30 degrees out in 2nd gear haha.

Bled the clutch. Drove it. Scraped the shit out of the splitter because I forgot how low it is.

Seems like original TOB is starting to go at 100,000 miles. Clutch is starting to make a hissing sound, previously discussed here:

100,000 miles on an FR-S TOB?

Congratulations, I think that's a record.

OFT Mount

Got a 90deg obd2 extension cable to route the oft towards the passenger side. Just had to unclip that zip tie to feed it thru the glove box.

Now I have an access point from the passenger side for the OFT and I can hide the cable when it's not in use.

Works nicely with the Beatsonic tablet mount. Now I enjoy monitoring stuff without cables around my leg.

I bought one of these and routed it into the glovebox, super nice! For some reason, my ECUTEK bluetooth adapter hates it though. I have to have it seated juuuuuuust right. hit a bump and bam
