This wing looks awesome! Does clamp down mean, you effectively don't do any damage to your trunk lid? Also, has anyone figured out if this will fit with the OEM FRS monogram or BRZ Limited spoiler?

How did you like it at the track? It's the first non-GT wing that I like for our cars.
Can you adjust the angle and height at all? |

It clamps onto the trunk obviously it wont provide the equivalent down force as something that bolts onto the trunk or even the chassis but there is noticeable differences especially when it comes to oversteer/grip. Rear end is definitely more planted and I want to say it helped on some tight corners at NCCAR at least for my driving style. As example without the wing I would snap over steer out of a sharp turn and loose control, with the wing (tested 2 weeks ago) I had 0 issues. Could be mental could be real life either way though don't expect to offer the results of a Voltex Wing or something along those lines.

That's what I'd presumed. Thanks for the reply. I do want the Vortex wing for the track use but my wife thinks I'm crazy. haha This looked a little more doable.
Thank you! |

Anyone else have track reviews regarding the function of this wing?

My wing finally arrived from Japan and I got it on the car over the weekend. I could not be more impressed by the quality of the carbon fiber as well as the brushed aluminum/stainless steel mounting brackets and arms.
Installation took a bit longer than anticipated since the instructions were in Japanese, but once I figured out how all the parts fit together it was on in minutes. For those of you wondering whether the clamps will scratch up your paint, it comes with multiple adhesive backed hard rubber strips that prevent any scratching. As for it's functionality, I haven't done a proper track test yet, however I did get up to 95 on the highway yesterday and I definitely noticed that the car was a bit more nimble changing lanes at speed. I've included some pics of this beauty mounted on my Raven FR-S. |

Finally got to use this baby on the track so I thought I'd share my experience. I was at Thompson Speedway in CT and had driven there once before without the wing so I was able to get a pretty accurate comparison.
I had the wing set to the most aggressive angle of attack which is about 10º and I can say with confidence that it improved rear wheel traction going into the fast corners. In comparison to having no wing, I felt that the car was much less tail happy when going into the fast corners allowing me to maintain more speed while controlling oversteer. The car also felt more planted when coming out of the corners at full throttle. On the longest straightaway, the car stayed planted over the small hill where before the wheels would slip slightly at the apex. I also felt the negative effect of induced drag toward the end of the straightaway where I was maxing out at 102mph where as before I could hit 105. I think that having a slightly lower angle of attack of 7-8º (setting 3 instead of 4) would have maximized the downforce to drag ratio on that specific track. Obviously on tracks with more/longer straights, the optimal angle would be even less. I'll also add that I get SO many more compliments on the car after putting on the wing, and most also comment on how well it fits with the car's design. It is truly the perfect balance of form and function and I would highly recommend it to anyone with our car. |

Hmmm... this wing looks like it could fit with the FIVE:AD rear lip spoiler I have. I wonder how it would look.
Anyway, very nice looking wing and it looks like it's pretty effective as well. |
