It will be about a fictional man who, after entering public office full of hope and purpose, discovers a secret, massive cabal conspiring against the people of the nation he so loves, and fights them for many years with much deception and intrigue, then climaxes with him leading a small army into the evil lair to free his nation from the clutches of the conspirators. As he charges in he finds a completely empty room, so he destroys the place and leaves knowing that he definitely saved the day.

The End.

(This is a work of fiction. Any similarities to any place or individual are purely coincidental.)

I admit it, it's me! I reported myself!

Ok no, that's not true.

As somebody who's pretty deep into EDC gear, firearms etc... I see some wild nonsense online. And some of them will defend their choices to the moon and get super defensive.

One guy in a thread elsewhere was talking about how he keeps kit in his vehicle complete with plates and 10 loaded mags. I was like.... Uhhhh I get being prepared, but 10 magazines? At what point do you sacrifice too much speed and mobility for the sake of ammunition? And at what point is that really needed during your daily commute? This isn't Afghanistan.

Dude lost it and started getting super pissed at me

Is what it is. Some people can and will take any "hobby" or whatever to extremes.

I carry stuff on me everyday; but nothing to the extent where I'm equipped for a firefight with a battalion sized element.

I know a couple guys who carry like they are going to be deputized during a hostage situation and save Nakatomi tower from terrorists.

Yeah, it's pretty wild. I mean, they're free to do what they want. But I couldn't help but laugh at the hostility over asking such a simple question about the mindset of having so much stuff for daily commuting.

Reminds me of this picture

I'm probably into the 2 dozen range, but it's always been spam.

I prefer to either work out my differences or pummel them into submission, which sometimes backfires spectacularly. Neither requires mommy to rescue me.
