X2, sadly what happened over time is that it got ugly and more expensive.

I may check in with them on the way home, but they have been working on the remodel for a long time now. They are the largest Scion dealership in the region I believe. I wonder how long Toyota has been working on this decision.

Tc is dropped according to the news release.
You missed the joke about "both" the Tcs in London I think. Scion never did well in this area and I bet there are only a handful of any of the models within about 100 kilometers. I have never seen any of their cars on the roads here other than one Tc and a dozen FRSs. Not once have I seen any of the other models.

The ironic is, sticking to the Scion badges will now be unique ahaha!

They probably already knew about it from corporate and that may be why they are remodeling

Years. These business decisions do not come up one week and get passed the next. I bet this was in the works for a minimum of 3 years and could even be as much as 5.
Not likely but also entirely possible that the end date for Scion was set before they ever even announced it existed. The companies look out far further than it may seem to many. There are no knee jerk reactions or sudden changes possible in the industry.

I had the first gen tC. amazing value for the $. It was the best Scion car besides the FR-S (which is really just a cheap version of the GT86/BRZ)

2nd closest would be the 1st gen xB. Those ugly boxes are pretty fun to fix up. It brought over the Japanese econobox ricing craze to the US.

My registration has said Toyota since I bought it in '13.
