Woah, thanks for all the great responses! I will definitely be getting some good compound tires.
Thank you! Anyway, Rota Grids, 17x9 - 50% tread on tires for $500 a good deal? Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk |

imho, go to tirerack to figure out what style you like, check the wheel directory for alternatives in a style you like, don't consider anything over 20 lbs and stick with 7" wide wheels as it's your commuter car. 17" diameter wheels are generally lighter and tires will be cheaper than 18" and 19" wheels. Actually look at the price of tires for a 9" wide wheel, a set of 245-40-17 is going to run you ~$200 more than 215-45-17's for EVERY set of tires you buy, iirc add another $200 for each diameter step up. Other than that they're probably a safe bet as long as the seller is legitimate and the wheels aren't knock-off Rota's, idk if that's a good price or not. Edit: Some 17x9's may not clear the front suspension if you're on the stock dampers, the +42 Rota's seem like they fit, but not a ton of wiggle room. http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showp...2&postcount=55 |

Need more info. Condition of the wheels and tires? Could be 50%, but if they were running excessive camber, one side of the tire may be worn down all the way, making that set of tires useless.
Also brand and model of tire? |
