You know what? I take that back. Toyota never revealed the exact number, they only say it's lower than the regular Prius, which is lower than 2nd gen Prius you mentioned. The next one with going to be even lower when they relocate the battery pack.

spaceywilly never got a twin so I am surprised he kept the spreadsheet and chart going for so long. Perhaps he will be around soon to bring it up to date. I cannot update them in the OP but I did fill in the spreadsheet to satisfy my own curiosity:

Thanks Travisb that makes it much easier for us visual learners to get! Was going to do the same myself but you saved me the trouble.
The dip in Dec to Feb 14 makes sense as who wants to buy these in the winter. I am a bit confused over the low June July numbers though. It is of course, possible that they just reflect an influx of more used cars into the market which would decrease the new sales. That would also help explain why the FRS sales dipped more then the BRZ as there would be less of the Subies available as used.
Just a theory as I am not in any conceivable way an expert on car sales trending!

Using a stacked column graph would nicely show total twin sales and still see how BRZ and FR-S compare.

An interesting note: Toyota sold 44,043 Camry in August in the U.S. That is more than the first 21 months of sales for BRZ and FR-S combined. That's 1421 Camry per day in August compared to 46 FR-S and 23 BRZ per day in August.

And I am still surprised that there are 60,000 (59,992 sold end of Aug) BRZ/FR-S in the U.S. I only see one every couple weeks.

Good to see this thread again. One small gripe--the BRZ ALL and FRS ALL numbers for Feb 14 are too high. Looks like the YTD numbers were inadvertently added to the previous ALL totals instead of the MTD numbers (for that one month alone). The BRZ ALL and FRS ALL YTD numbers after Feb 14 also need to be adjusted down accordingly.
