Thanks for asking. Like Capt. said, takes a while. I've been told can take months and months for the body to dissolve all the uric acid crystals. That's after possible months of dialing in the correct med dosage. Right now I feel like all my muscles are done, like I just wrestled an alligator yesterday and every muscle hurts. Can barely get up and walk, but no gout like pains, so that's something. Taking it day by day.

I need to go get my pneumonia and shingles shots. Also 30 years overdue for tetanus. I remember that one hurts.

How you doing?

Welp, as long as your muscles are hurting, you might as well get the tetanus shot - As I recall, it don't hurt as bad as the "peanut butter" shot -

How am I doing? The medicare people made me go get my annual physical yesterday. Yep, I can still fog a mirror - barely. They want me to get another colon scoping - UGH! I just had one about a year ago. I reckon they will keep looking till they find something -

OK, time fer ma nap - my secret to .... to .... to ...... (I forget???).

It's a "it depends" thing really. I got the first Shingles and a Tetanus shot on the same day (one on the left, the other on the right). I was a little sore on the Tetanus side but nothing worse than a bee sting.

Then again, I rarely have any reaction to a shot. I've had four Covid shots, and no reaction of any type.

So, in the last 18 months, I've had 4 COVID shots, two Shingles shots, one flu shot, and a tetanus shot. Besides typing this hanging upside down from the ceiling, everything is normal....

Besides the covid boosters I've had 4 different blood tests, a couple of radioactive tracer IVs for PET/CT scans and a couple of anesthesia IVs for surgeries in the last 9 months. It seems like I'm always either donating or receiving something or another.

TIL, that the reason the wife sometimes goes into work late is because the cat has figured out how to press snooze on the cellphone alarm.

Yep, that be true. However, I don't ever remember butchering or eating pork on our farm (except for bacon). Grandpa would trade the butcher beef halves for slabs of bacon and lard. He would lay the slabs of bacon out on planks on sawhorses in the barn to cure. One of my chores was to rub down the slabs of bacon with coarse salt and raw sugar, twice a day, on each side.

We also raised milk cows, chickens, sheep and beef. We ate lots of meat - just not hogs (cept bacon) - why not?

Maybe we didn't BBQ because it was hard to deep fat fry meat in lard over a BBQ -

And the cat erased her homework data from her laptop?

I also normally don't have any reaction to injections. My covid shots were nothing. I do remember the tetanus drug itself hurting in the muscle for a few days, but that was 30+ years ago. Maybe they have perfected it a bit.
