Edit: car now hold lap record for TT5 class at the FIRM. Will make a good candidate for TT4 if you do a motor swap in my opinon. Still think 40k is too much in this market?

OP just stop it. You are not gonna get $30K here much less $40k (yes including the mods)
The New gen is out albeit sparce, but anyone who is even remotely interesting with your asking price probably want the EXACT same build..as in literally match to match and then some.
That, my friend, is a very, very tall order.

I seriously considered this car close to his asking price. Only reason no: 1) color 2) I plan on putting in a different engine anyways to be more reliable..

To anyone else dabbing in racing you would be insane NOT to buy it.

Have you seen the current market? This price is beyond reasonable for what is put into it. You'll never replicate it for this price.

I still don’t understand the price of this. It’s a beautiful car. Just never heard of anyone modding a car and expecting to get their money back on it. I hope you do!
