17x8 ET35 is really nice on this platform IMO.

17x8 is a really great size for daily drivers. The difference is just that there's like ~50 17x8 options, and there's only like 1 legitimate 18x10 option and it's $4,000 That's why I'm hoping APEX fills the void despite it being a very niche aggressive track fitment.

I disagree, especially when looking at flow-formed wheels. Enkei’s wheels get really weird looking at that size with relatively high offset, the RPF1 especially only really looks good in the wider sizes. Konig discontinued their best looking FF wheels, and everyone else is either doing cast wheels or $800/wheel forged pieces. There’s not much middleground.

Yeah that's probably the hard part. In more street focused fitments I bet there's a tendency for more wheels to be cast vs. flow formed or forged since strength and weight aren't as large as a factor as they are in race oriented sizes.

Glad to see interest for both street and track fitments! We certainly intend to cater to both markets right now and with all future designs.

My 17x9 ARC-8's are for the rain tires.. the EC7R and some wheels that won't be named are the dry R comp wheels

The EC-7Rs are def the primary track wheels then I toss those others on when I cord a tire. I need more sets eventually.. like black friday.

My plan is next year is to get some EC-7Rs for track duty and keep my arc-8 for daily or wet weather when the car gets retired from DD duties.
