I have had the konig daylites for about a year now. I've done multiple track days and they've survived our terrible UK roads with no problems.

Most of their models are gravity cast wheels. Not the lightest, nor the strongest, but for tooling around on the street they're just fine.
They also have some flow-formed wheels which are decent double duty wheels for street and track use. Still not as light or strong as forged wheels but can work just fine. Buy what you like, don't listen to snobs, haters, and curmudgeons. |

Konig, XXR, TSW .... these US brand wheels were manufactured in Taiwan. Personally, I would pick Konig over others because they also manufactured high-end F1 wheels, some casting Enkei, and Sparco wheels.
If you are looking for the best quality wheels that manufactured in Taiwan, you may consider the SuperAlloy Industrial (SAI) which is the Top 2 forged wheels supplier in the world. They supply wheels for AMG, BMW, Porsche, Rolls-Royce and super car like McLaren P1. http://superalloyengineering.com/ |

The Konig daylites I have are 6.5kg each so some of the Konig's are definitely light and difficult to beat for the price.

I had Konigs back in high school. Crashed into a curb doing hoodrat stuff and it only dented the wheel, so I'm cool with the quality.
