Will track with stock seat belts and see how I feel about it. I do have a GSpeed half cage that I have been thinking about installing for the last two years.

Something made noise in the rear so I poked around and found that the hex bolt on both upper control arms loosened! I ordered new tie rod ends but could not remove the existing ones, they were seized! Took the arms to Gran Turismo East and they could not remove them either even with heat. Called Racer X and they told me that heating the arms probably ruined them so I ended up getting a new pair. Installed, aligned, and back on the road!

The clanking noise persisted so I poked around more and noticed the bushing on the FSB passenger side was melted. I suspect the initial damage happened when two of of three bolts on the Ace OP backed out and I got a nice exhaust leak there. I could not find a replacement bushing in stock, probably due to Covid shortages, so I purchased an entire brand new bar and got my bushing. Also, the tie rod boot got melted and I am still waiting for replacement parts to arrive....

Replaced the melted inner tie rod boot, the clamp tool came in handy. Also changed the oil (1,659 miles and 3 track weekends since last oil change).

Doing Road Atlanta this weekend, then Barber and NCM in September.

Great weekend at Road Atlanta.
Was running Kumho Ecsta V730 for the first time and the grip was great.
Did a 1:45.71 in 90-degree weather, maxing out at 115-117 mph on the back straight.
This is on OEM exhaust and tune, and no harness bar.
All time best is a low 1:43 on header/tune/e85, RE71, harness bar, doing about 126-127 on the back straight. Hoping to match or beat this time once the weather cools.

Latest oil analysis. The sample was indeed taken after prolonged idling!

Got tired of fixing torn wheel liners with Gorilla Tape so ordered custom wheel spacers from Motorsport Tech for 6ULs. 7mm thick, hubcentric to hub (56.1mm), wheelcentric to wheel (73.1mm). Due to shortages, it took 1.5 months to get the spacers but here they are (ordered 7/15, delivered 9/2).

Installed new fender liners and pre-emptively taped the problem areas with Gorilla Tape. Will see if the extra 7mm of offset eliminates the problem.

What offset wheels, tire size and camber were you having these issues with?
How did you get that camber? Just top hats, or camber bolts also?

The wheels are 6UL, so 17x9 +40. Tires are 255/40. Running -3.8/-3.9 camber with camber plates and camber bolts.

Street wheels are APEX ARC-8 17x9 +42 but since I ordered wheel centric spacers, they will not work with the APEX rims.

Got it. I run 245/40 RE71Rs on 17x9 et40 König Hypergrams at ~ -3.2º camber (camber plates only) and haven't had that issue.
I did have the front tire rubbing behind the suspension against the chassis when going sideways with too much drift angle, even at et37.
