Going S1DEWAYS Whiteout Journal
First off, a little about me.
I'm a college student studying business in New York. I work part time when I attend school and full time when I don't. Being a college student, my mods are going to be slow going but I'll make sure to post them when they happen! At first I was hesitant in making a car journal, I'm not the type to go blogging about my life. But I decided this would mark a very important milestone in my life and would love to have the process recorded. This here car is the first car that I've purchased myself (without parental help). And my first manual transmission car. I had driven my friends stick shift cars before and knew how to drive. But upon driving this! Wow! The feel of the drive is just unreal! So it begins! With the ribbon and all! So I decided to install HID and LED's as my first mod(after tints). I couldn't handle the color of the stock bulbs. And I did my full interior to LED's. After watching that guy on youtube say "making sure you don't touch the bulb" like 10 times... I just wore gloves. Next I decided to plastidip the wheels, Here's how I did it. Took the wheels off the car, Index cards all around the edges, and just spray light coats. And time to put them back on. Had to take a shot of this angle. It looked too good haha Wheels done! Then it happened...... Don't ask me how. It just happened. It seems like its just the bumper cover though. After a lot of thinking, I decided to just buy a new bumper and get it painted. But that meant shelling out a few hundred bucks... So while I was waiting on that..... I did exhausts! If you guys were wondering those are MXP's. Love the sound but gets kinda loud inside. My mother doesn't approve. But she's not driving it! Few weeks later I decided to go thru with the paint. Whiteout paint is ridiculously expensive guys... I had to pay almost double for just the paint for the 3 stage paint. Thanks to the guys at WD Ultimate and a few other people that got me to this point, I had my brand new bumper in! -Jin Last edited by jinberry; 10-18-2013 at 12:02 AM. |

Does the MXP exhaust drone when you're cruising on the high way?
