Dyno with full exhaust

Had the BRZ back on the dyno to see any gains compared to stock.
The car has a JDL UEL, PLM over, PLM front with HFC, Perrin cat-back.

Same peak whp, but picked up 10ft lbs of wtq in what used to be the dip. Runs are all done in third gear.

Yea. Catless UEL and a high flow cat in the frontpipe. So essentially catless.

"PLM front with HFC"

no OEM cats, but single high-flow cat

Wonder how long it's going to take the aftermarket guys to crack the ECU and start offering tunes, especially E85 tunes.

Did I miss the thread about the old exhaust parts working on the new cars?

That's what my tuner prefers.

That setup sounds great! Did your tuner have any thoughts on how much more might be achievable with a tune? And did he comment on how rich/lean it was running with the stock tune?

If that's Xero Limit, the reason he had given me before was that their fan flowing air into the engine is small. It looks like a leaf blower lol. So he doesn't like to run long pulls at higher gear with such lack of airflow. He typically does 4th gear, not sure the reason for 3rd in this case - maybe just to be on the extra safe side with the new gen.

Which is weird, typically you want to dyno/tune the car in the 1:1 gear. Which in the case of the twins would be 5th, IIRC.
