After market seats that raise

The passenger seat doesn't have a height adjustment, and this is an issue I would like to fix.
  • Do the Limited seats raise/lower?
  • If not do you have aftermarket suggestions? Emphasis is on comfort as I'd like to take my wife on extended road trips.

This was a bit of a surprise to me and though I'm over six feet tall, but there are a lot of short people in my family.

I asked the same question on the FaceBook group, but maybe I'll get some informed opinions here. Apparently, that group is more for measurbating over wheel offsets for cars never driven at the limit.

To be clear, you want to *raise* a passenger seat via aftermarket modification?

I can’t imagine these parts would be common for a sports car, but I suppose others will chime in.

I want to look at options for aftermarket seats that have height adjustment.

You probably want to have airbags.
No / almost no aftermarket seats have airbags.

Can you ship airbags internationally? I think it's considered an explosive item.

Have your wife sit on some pillows, or something similar.

That's what I do for my 4'11" wife.

Works great.

I had hoped to take this car on a road trip and I don't think this will work for that. I'll look for some things to boost the seat without looking too hokey though, that's a good idea.

There are all manner of automotive seat pillows for $35-40 on Amazon that will meet your needs without having to swap parts or pay through the nose. Best part...you can take it out in a second.
