2021 2.5l Turbo AWD Mazda 3

227hp, 310lb-ft.

With the upgraded interior, this would make a stong all season daily driver.

If they made this in a manual it would be really hard to not get one (I've owned a mazdaspeed 3 and two mazdaspeed 6's)

And that is "NEGATIVE" according to reviewers....
Not enough space inside as so and so car...

Bitch....its a COMPACT car, its supposed to be small!

I hate how everything's getting bigger and bigger each year.

I walked past a current model VW Polo yesterday. I stopped, stared and had to make sure I wasn't looking at a Golf. Polos used to be a small car.

All cars have grown, and its a shame. Nothing wrong with having large cars for those who want/need them, but some of us want light, small cars that are easy to park, economical, and handle the way only a tiny car can. It really hits home when you compare some cars from the 1960s-1990s to their modern counterparts. The older cars, especially sportscars and imports are so much smaller, lighter, and lower. They could often get away with 14 or 15 inch rims! Which looked fine because the cars were so small. Now you need 18s minimum on a modern ‘small’ car just for the rims not to look tiny, and 19-20s are becoming more common.

I saw a Ferrari 308 GTB parked between a couple of modern Ferraris recently, and the 308 looked like a toy in between them. So much lower and narrower. And better looking IMO.

At the multi-level car park at the shopping center the wife and I visit there are a few bays that are signed "small cars only". I don't consider my BRZ to be small and yet I park in those bays with much room to spare.

I agree I hate that cars are getting bigger. I do consider the 86 small though.

1. Extra Large(above 190 inches) = Challenger/8 series
2. Large(above 180 inches) = Mustang/Camaro/4 series
3. Medium(above 170 inches) = 2 series
4. Smal(above 160 inches)l = 86/BRZ/370Z
5. Extra Small(under 160 inches) = Miata/4c/Elise

The manufacturers would love to be able to make the smaller cars smaller but they are in a sort of Catch 22 situation with regulations.
One set of regulations demands better mileage and less emissions. To be able to go smaller and lighter would be an easy route to reach the goals.
The other set of regulations call for increased crash protection. These requirements make cars get bigger and heavier in order to comply.
All in all the blame is on the world governments for having conflicting laws not the buying public nor the cat companies.

So for the sake of..... I'm not really sure but I am bored so maybe I'll say for the sake of relieving boredom. Or maybe I won't.

Anyways.

"Catch 22" is hyphenated.

So it's Catch-22 not Catch 22 unless you have been catching 22 balls or something else that's been caught 22 times.

Thank you. Thank you very much, I shall now end this post with a full stop.

Good lord and I thought I was pedantic!

not judging btw, I don’t get to judge other people on that with how much of a pedant I can be.

Well that was my 2000th post. Worth. It.
