Reminds me of this guy than made a race winning bike against factory backed teams in his garage. Crazy blokes...

Thanks for your interest and enthusiasm guys..
I've been off the project for a couple of weeks as it has been wet, windy, cold and I've had a stinking cold. Back out in the garage today prepping the moulds for the arches as a friend has asked me to make him a set. It's so cold nothing will dry and I can't feel my toes. So, here I am back indoors on my PC.

Well guys, I'm back on it.. the weather has finally sorted itself and Adam has his wide arches fitted now.
That's the first pop out of my moulds, it fits really well, so I'm happy. I've now made another set of arches for my project and have decided to make complete bolt on front fenders and a complete FRP rear end from the doors back. Here we can see the front fender bonded on, ready to have the arch cut off and reshaped to allow big track tyres to be fitted. I have also started on making the rear panels moulds. Once done all the metalwork can be removed. You can also follow me on Instagram, "gt86 nige".

Where can I find more pics on this car? Is there a build thread or a Instagram? Thanks

So, I finally got some 114.3 x5 rear hubs and am still looking for front hubs. Honestly, the stock bearings are a joke!! They're not even bolted together, they are swaged and the inner bearing race is part of the outer flange!! It's actually machined into the flange and induction heat treated!! I know they won't put up with sticky 11" wide tyres. I need to buy some big uprights that suit bigger bearings and will probably need to get some aftermarket hubs like the beautiful Brypar ones. Specially made for the '86 with corrected roll centre and made to suit bigger bearing.
Check em out here http://brypar.com/

Thanks guys..
I'll add a couple of posts today as I'm a bit behind. Here's the front fender now blended and primed/polished ready for mould making. Once complete I will have moulds to make one piece front fenders so I wont need to get a stock fender and cut it to fit the RB fender when I crash it on track. In the background is my other '86, sitting on Ohlins suspension and 720Form 18 x 9 wheels from Canada. Also note my best friend getting in on the shot!!

So here we are... inner mounting flange and main outer wing are done. Just the headlight surround, door shut, front mount and under arch to go.
Once these moulds are complete I will start on cutting the RB arch and making it slightly wider and taller to allow a very low ride height on 265/35 x18 Toyo R888's on 10" wheels.

Whilst all the moulding work has been going on, I've been busy buying tyres and choosing wheels..
I've gone for ToyoR888 in 265/35x18 front and 315/30 x 18 rear. Wheels will be 10" wide front and 11.5 or 12" rear. Now that's how you fill a Rocket Bunny arch!!
