Sept 11, 2012 - Perrin Drop-in Air Filter

Noticeable improvement, deeper more "throaty", in sound coming from the intake. The car felt stronger throughout the entire power band. There was excess oil on the filter so make sure to wipe it down with a paper towel before installing. If you don't it could cause issues with the air sensor.

Sept 12, 2012 - Perrin Crank Pulley

What a pain in the ass! I snapped the head off my 3/8" breaker. Bought a 24" 1/2" breaker and put all 6'2" - 250lbs into it. Finally got it off!
The car feels to accelerate more effortlessly. I know it's not making more power, that's not possible, but it does feel like its quicker. It's like running with ankle weights and then taking them off and running. The car feels lighter on it's feet per say.

Certainly will be doing pads, fluid and stainless steel lines before tracking. I will eventually do wheels and tires but not until these tires are killed.

You sure do like joint ventures! You went from a Saaburu to a Subieyota!

Car looks good! Enjoy it!

I secretly love Subaru but don't want to pay Subaru prices. I loved my Saaburu. I beat that car senseless and it just smiled the whole time. It was also my first, and only, AWD. AWD has a special place in my heart but RWD is just primal fun.
