Wait time
What is the current wait time for an FR-S?
I'm looking to trade in the TC for one; pending I can afford the increase in monthly payment? |

Umm...check with your dealer? It's different for everyone. I got mine a week from deposit because my dealer had one inbound already that was not spoken for.
Others are waiting month. And some are driving off the lot the same day. Others are going on long road trips to get theirs. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2

If you're willing to drive a bit and you look hard enough there won't be much of a wait. I've come across three FRS' that I could have driven off the lot that night but they weren't in the color/configuration that I was looking for.

No such joy here in Australia. I have to wait until Jan 2013 or until a similar car comes in that the buyer changes their mind on
Still, a little bit extra time to get more money together and then sell my old beasty (Nissan 300zx) |

Wait time seems area dependent (and your willingness to travel). To get what I wanted exactly, my wait time was 2 months a week ago. Although there's currently only one FR-S on a dealer lot (according to their inventory web sites) in the entire state of Louisiana. Assuming I didn't miss any when searching.

does anyone know what days deliveries are typically made on? For example, do dealerships get cars in every day, week, monthly?

Do a search for your area, you might find several dealers with one on the lot. There are 3 dealers that I see on a regular basis that have at least one on the lot. The dealer I have a deposit at finally got a manual in and they called me wanting me to test drive it. I think their deposit on it fell through because they offered it to me about a week ago but I'm not quite ready to pull the trigger yet.
I've already taken one on a test drive but I'm not going to tell them that... |
