Yes, with the start button, that little cubby is entirely useless. With those oversized climate control buttons and dials, the design in that area is still annoying me. I wish there was an aftermarket replacement.

I still don't have any window scratches (as I go find some wood to knock on). Any time anything shows up on them that look like scratches, they've come off with a little glass cleaner.

Now the bit of weather stripping that loves to get stuck on the glass edge on the other hand....I've still yet to try treating them with silicone spray.

I'm curious if the the PS4S made the road noise worst or just stayed the same? I'm upgrading to them soon from stock tires and was expecting to get lower noise

It came with iMoveGen2 cheap tires when I first bought it, the noise difference on rough LA freeways was negligible but the grip and ride improvement was noticeable and worth every dollar.

Just finished the sound tube delete and I believe it had a larger impact on noise reduction than new tires. It changes the tones heard in the cabin to more of a mundane less bassy/sporty induction. (Subtle difference, splitting hairs here)

A full Bilstien B6 upgrade and Sound dampening are in the works. I suspect these will be game changers for daily driving. LA traffic with a 6-speed isn't THAT bad...

Nitpicking here as I find few faults:

2015 FRS.

1. protrusions and sharp edges on the ceiling (underside of package shelf) of the trunk.
These can easily tear, scrape and destroy soft items put in a filled trunk.

2. not enough padding beneath the soft vinyl top portion of the driver's door panel...just where my elbow/forearm rests on long trips.

So the vehicle is only near perfect overall.

Endnotes:
A filled trunk is one which took me an entire two hours to painstakingly pack to all it could hold.
A long trip is one which takes about 6 days of all day driving.

I've got at least another 5 years or so before I may need those, lol.

I'll definitely give you that 2nd one. I suppose I've just gotten used to it, but I do remember being a little bothered at how quickly that panel acquired a permanent elbow dent.

The battery clamp system. I've had better and I've had worse, but when it comes time to change it, it's easy for it to come loose or just epically fail at not loosing the pieces.

Also, the noise tube. That's going soon haha.

What's wrong with cloth seats? Never cold in the winter and doesn't burn your ass in the summer.

But seriously the most annoying thing about this car is listening to the community surrounding it just shit all over it without driving it, and owning something completely different (often slower statistically speaking lol). One more time I hear "it needs a turbo or it should go away" Ima start engaging in online arguments with strangers. And we all know what that does to your mental health lol.
