Congrats on finally getting the FR-S!! It's worth the wait for sure.

Let me know if you want me to show you how to drive manual. I can take you out and show you the ropes if you want and I'm sure Cory can do the same. I'm not exactly an expert yet but I do feel like I know how to do it properly now.

I know you were worried about reversing, but seriously its super easy. Easier then you think it will be. The big problem for you will be rolling backwards on hills. I suggest you take some time and learn how to use the hand brake just incase.

Congrats on finally getting the car! Do me a favour and try to listen for the engine sound. I noticed my FR-S got louder as I drove it during the break in. So let me know if you notice the same thing.

Ben

Also for you guys who were interested in gokarting, I plan on trying to go to F440 this saturday if the weather is good.

I updated my own karting thread just so we're not jacking this one.

Sweet you can show me how to drive it properly. In the mean time I'm going to stick to driving in Richmond where there's no hills. I'm probably going to practice driving on the outskirts of Richmond this weekend lol

Yeah I don't mind at all. I'm going to be in Richmond anyway on the way to F440. So I don't mind showing you the basics.

What time are you around on Saturday? Maybe you want to come karting with Jay and me?

Ben

I'm free this Saturday, I don't think I'll be pro enough to drive all the way to F440 though, I'll have to go onto a highway lol. I'll go if you drive me there xD

Where'd your trunk girl go? It's weird because I am posting that I met a girl on Friday that looks like a better looking version of her. Saw her again today. Can't remember her name though, but she's early 20s and here for ESL before going back to Japan to be a teacher. Nice girl.

What a day to take delivery, so much sun!

Picked up my car from JP Toyota Surrey this AM, super impressed with the sales experience there. Very laid back, listened to all my ridiculous demands to not detail it, not drill the bumper for a plate mount, etc...They just did the PDI and handed me the keys, with the vinyl and all still on it.

9KM on the odometer when I drove out of the dealer and it went home to be detailed.

No after pics, sorry! was to excited to drive it and now its dark haha!

^ Congrats! Easy job for them not to detail it.

How'd you mount the front plate since they didn't drill it?

There is a plate mount that goes through the grill and just wraps upwards.

I haven't checked to see if they had to drill the grill, if they did I don't actually mind as much as its not going to be visible, I was just afraid they would put two holes right in the painted part of the bumper.

He said it came off the truck with that plate mount ? Was surprised.
