2024 SCCA Solo Nationals Class Difficulty
If you are like me and spent this past week out in Lincoln Nebraska getting trampled by your competition in AutoX this might make you feel slightly better.
Below is the difficulty for all of the open classes to finish in the trophies (NOT WIN THE CLASS) based on PAX finishing positions. Obviously things change which move the results around every event like weather conditions, time of day, people moving classes, 1 or 2 driver cars, rule changes, blah blah blah. For anyone who ran in STX or SSC it was difficult in past years and was even harder this year. |

STX watched DSP as course workers. They ran first, so they could have been even faster later in the day. Regardless, STX and SSC are really tough classes with tons of talent. I was floored to have put in a great last run on day 2 to haul myself from 15th to 7th in STX! Finishing 7th in class and 88th in overall PAX was like - wut.

Tell me about it. 134th PAX and one spot out of the trophies.
I had a great day one, and was up in 6th, but took a couple of runs to get confidence on the west course. On the third run the brake pedal went hard as I made the right-hander into the back slalom, pushing me out way wide. Definitely would have been a few tenths faster without that.

I thought I had it tough in STR, but STX was even more brutal lol.
