Curious as well - had to drop my braces to fit the traction mod.

Curious myself. I had purchased the braces too and had to sell them. I even broke out the 5lb sledgehammer for a sec. lol

I'll have to go take a photo. It involved bending the tab that mounts up to the MCA part where the trailing arm is connected. Not sure if anyone else would want to do what I did...

I realized I never chimed in here with my experience on the GPSports version of this.

No changes in ride height, but 9kg/mm rear springs over here.

I posted initital impressions here:https://www.ft86club.com/forums/show...5&postcount=86

and then after an autocross and more driving: https://www.ft86club.com/forums/show...5&postcount=88

Still super happy with them, the car rides better, puts power down better, is easier to drive on the limit, etc etc.

For ~$350 and <90 minutes total it's an awesome mod.

I wonder if my stupid Cusco rear power brace would fit with the GP Sports style piece.

I noticed that MCA has this notice on their traction mod page:
Quote:
V2 COMING SOON
Our original Traction Mod is no longer available. We have an updated V2 coming early 2024.
I sent them a request for more details, hopefully they can provide some.

Possibly, but you'd at least need some kind of metal spacer to fill the void where the trailing arm used to mount.

What prevents the brace from mounting to the Traction Mod?

I used a 5 lb hammer to bend the tab on the chassis brace so I could bolt everything up with the traction mod.

Oh right, the gentle massaging haha. Is there any reason why the brace doesn't bolt up to the original trailing arm pickup point? Is the goal simply to keep the brace connected to where the trailing arm currently mounts with the traction mod?

MCA responded, saying they don't have a date but should be available in stock in a few weeks. I'm starting to be very interested in these mods and with one other option being out of stock and the other coming from Japan, a new MCA option would be sweet.
