Reporting Spam

Not sure how many of you are still here, but can you please put a temporary hold on all new account registrations until there is a permanent fix for this bot situation?

I just reported at least 12 spam posts in about 30 minutes and they're still continuing to post. I'm getting sleepy.

I think who you really want is admin who I think is @Hachiroku.

I cleaned up last night til I went to bed. Hachi cleaned up this morning 3 pages full of spam in off-topic section

And all the Roberts are still there as well as 12 new ones registering right now.
Take about 5 minutes to stop them at the source if anybody actually was paying attention or cared.

Well this is an interesting new development.
Apparently I can no longer even look at profiles to see what the obvious bots are up to.

Yep, it would appear that some of them have figured out how to get elevated privileges. This is very bad.

Edit: Or it's possible that they have edited their privacy settings like I just did.

Yours and any normal user's are fine it is just the bots. I don't think it has anything to do with privacy settings.

Hmmm...

I tried to change the privacy settings, but they won't save when I click that button. All of the settings reverted back to allow everyone to view all blocks.
