Rear Fender Roll - Funky Lip
I am rolling the rear fenders to make room for tires that are rubbing. When I started to roll the fenders I noticed a funky bead or lip where the roller hits the fender. After a bit, the "bead" started to come apart and peal off like some sort of tape.
Have others flat out removed the tape to roll the fender? Have you been able to roll the fender and leave the "bead/tape" in place? What happens if it is removed? It's there for a reason, right? |

Mine is partially remove. A heated chisel (?) was used and my shop shaved 80% of it away before rolling the fender.
