So wouldn't that be better than using spacers? Wouldn't using spacers affect the handling? or using a wheel with a lower offset/

Well, after doing some research any "offsetting" will affect the handling and driving dynamics of the vehicle. Now, if you have to choose go with the wheel with a different offset instead of using spacers, spacers are bad news. If you drive a show car and don't care about performance then I guess spacers are fine.

alignment or balance

do you know if you have to rebalance the wheels and do an alignment after doing the drop and putting in the spacers? I just ordered the same springs, but am debating the spacers

How was the camber on the car after using the sportlines? Has anyone taken it to a shop and got the specs after dropping with Sportlines?
