Actually in all honesty there is some truth to that. Even my real-life friends [I still do have a few left believe it or not] call me ghost sometimes (not a racist thing I don't think) because I'm gone for weeks and months at a time...

Try having non military friends when you are in the army. To this day all of my oldest, still existing friends were also army. Even though we could lose touch for years we could hook back up as if only days had passed. Many people just can't do that.

I find exactly the same thing with musicians; my wife and almost all of my true friends (not just friendLY acquaintances) are all musicians. When you devote so much of your life and focus to something and share it, that tie stands the test of time. I can't imagine being married to a non-musician; they'd never put up with the stuff I have to do and my schedule. Likewise, I find it difficult to relate long-term to folks who aren't symphonic or jazz musicians, even if there are other things we have in common. No idea why.. it just is. I completely get the military bond, T..

For anybody that thinks I act any different in "real life" than I do here I have attached a series of emails to prove otherwise. The names have been changed to protect the innocent but the content remains untouched.

Can we please have a suitable audible alarm for our strut assembly turntables when pedal is activated

Thanks

That’s a good idea Supervisor. Like it.

There are requirements for alarms on equipment we can’t just slap a beeper on it and call it a day. So do we do the other ones as well? Do we have them all the same? Will we reach a saturation point of audible alarms where they no longer mean anything at all?
Although I also like the concept we need to think this completely through before moving forward with anything.

I realize that. That’s why my preference would be an extremely loud Macaw sound

Pollywantacracker Pollywantacracker Pollywantacracker Pollywantacracker Pollywantacracker Pollywantacracker ?

I just didn’t want to show up and we have some nice beeper on there that doesn’t meet the equipment start up code requirements.

Oh, I'm not that all at math, however, I do remember when I was 36.

Yep, I had this Asian lady friend (Japanese she was) back in California. She was a tall (for an Asian), athletic girl. One evening she invited me over to her apartment (she lived alone) and treated me to a "Japanese bath" followed by a home wok-ed meal (with real steamed rice).

Soon afterward, after examination with my instrument, I discovered that she had a physical condition that would not allow intercourse. However, to compensate, she had the ability to do that "deep throat" thing.

So, I decided to ........ (the rest of the Paul Harvey type story to follow upon request) ........

Best car I ever had in the snow was my Z. Cheap all-seasons. That thing would plow through snowdrifts.

Mine also had some gaudy aftermarket wheels before I purchased. I asked them to install the stock ones.

Same same. I also learned to detach more easily. I don't put any effort into "staying in touch."

Me as well! We will start our own club.

The ones that were on mine look great on a dark car but damn that light colour sucked on the Lava.

Ya, the staying in touch either happens or doesn't I don't go out of my way to chase people and don't get offended if people are not hunting me down to do things. The wife struggled with the idea for a while but came to understand what was up.

Mine worried about me for the first couple years. She got over it after seeing me interact with old friends.

I think it's a bit of a guy thing too.
