Supporting mods for higher rev limit?

Hi, what are the recommended mods for higher tuned rev limits like 8k?

I've seen catch cans and so what else?

Assuming you realise you will need more than a tune to make power above 7000rpm. Start by having a read of the @Element Tuning threads on lubrication and the rocker they destroyed. They are running up around 9000rpm so have some great experience with high rpm FA20s.

These are the threads I was referring to.

Almost 3.5k $ to suport a redline above 8 k and make a couple more hp. Headwork/valves/springs/retainers/tune etc. Seems stupid.

I can appreciate the desire for a higher na powered car but the benefit/cost ratio is quite low.

In addition to what others have said, don't forget additional/upgraded cooling....revving up that high to make more power is going make things even hotter

You might over spin the oil pump past 8.5. Interested to know about that.
