Keeping it through my loan term at the least, but probably longer than that.
I see myself getting into a new DD sometime soon (new S3 sedan perhaps?) and then turning the BRZ into a full time weekend/track toy.

Never selling... That's like $12000 loss. This car is good enough to keep forever anyways.

I plan on keeping it for most of it or my life.
Unless they finally release the new Rx7 in the next 2 years..... |

No other car is as much "fun to drive" , so it has a permanent home here!

I'll keep mine for as long as I can put off buying an old Porsche, or possibly indefinitely if I can somehow swing owning two cars simultaneously.
Fun fact, though: I think the BRZ will be the most modern car I own for the foreseeable future. If I do replace it, it will be with something that doesn't have satnav or stability control. |

Lol no more like a used 135/335 or a new GTI or Cooper S.
Unless my fiance finds a good job right after college then maybe a used Cayman S. Or maybe I'll just pay cash for a mk1 or mk2 GTI and turn it into a show car. So many decisions. Last edited by BlueDubbinTDI; 04-15-2014 at 07:27 AM. |

I'm with @Ganthrithor As soon as I have Porsche money...away it goes...maybe not right away cause it is fun to drive but it'll never be Porsche refined. Who knows...the plan could change if a turbo came along for this car, but that idea is becoming so far fetched, it's not worth dwelling on anymore.

Most likely until it no longer becomes financially smart to keep it running.

I think I'll keep this until I can afford a new Cayman or 991. I will most likely keep this for longer than I have with most of my prior cars, for a long time I was averaging ~1 year between trade-ins.
Went from 190E -> e46 M3 -> 135i -> z4 M Coupe -> mk6 GTI -> 5.0 stang -> BRZ in only 6 years time. |

At least until I get to test drive an Alfa Romeo 4C or get in a position to buy an older Ferrari or Aston Martin. I love the car but I'm slowly becoming a Euro guy as the years pass.
