In all USDM cars and cars optioned without rear fog lights, the triangle is just a reflector and the bulb socket is never drilled out. However, if the car comes optioned with rear fog lights (like some JDM trims), the housing will have the socket drilled out, a bulb installed into it, and an appropriate harness with power for the extra light. |

Bought my base model ("premium" lol) '15 brz new from the dealership and the interior is sorta weird. Silver steering wheel trim, silver shifter trim, silver TC buttons, fake carbon fiber dash panels (that gray checkered pattern instead of silver like everyone elses), black air vent trim, black door handle trim... I actually really like the reverse lights. The flashing light is bright enough for daytime, the reverse lights seem brighter, the light bar is pretty sick, and it matches stock pretty well. I need to spend some time wiring the bar to turn on and off with the running lights at night though... Rushed it since I noticed my lights were blown out at my friend's shop and he happened to have one on hand lol.

Small parts I should consider getting from Japan?

Oooooh I like the Valenti reverse light! I like to call it the triangle light. I’m going to search for one, especially if it matches ok to stock tails. Having a flashing 4th brake light would be nice, my car is practically invisible to people in their SUV’s. Subaru really wanted the BRZ to have nicer features from the get go. It took Toyota a while to catch up. I can understand if you might want to switch out some of the silver painted stuff. There are some little details in my FR-S that I wondered if the BRZ has. Like the little “waves” pattern in the gauges and other trim pieces, like around the radio and AC controls. Or is that the checkered pattern? Is the carbon fiber dash piece the same? (It’s fake I know) My car has standard AC controls, no heated seats, etc. It’s a 2016. Oh the wave pattern is on the floor mats also Lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Look closely and you can see it is sort of an angular, stylized, version of the T in the Toyota logo.

Yeah, same fake carbon fiber looking thing. I didn't get the limited brz so I have the standard hvac knobs as well. I thought Delrin would have been way more resistant to heat. I'm currently using a metal knob and I had to stack a couple of backup face masks so I can actually touch it without burning myself lmao.

I have a COBB shift knob in my other car, which I'm pretty sure is Delrin, and I don't ever remember it getting too hot to touch.
