Horsepower builds to redline. Torque drops off a little with PD SCs, but continues to build with centrifugal SCs. If you want to feel like you are in a forced induction car then get a JRSC/KWSC. If you want something that feels like a V6/V8 then get the Edelbrock/Harrop.

While this is true and a great way to view it, for most people who bolt on and go.

You can always detune the midrange on the PD to flatline torque,
Say your pulley setup could make 240wtq peak at 5k but falls off to 220wtq at 7k, you could detune mid range to flatline torque 220wtq from about 4000-7000 rpm.

You could try to do something similar on a centrifugal style but you need to run a higher psi pulley and detune the top end but that’s less efficient since your still delivery higher boost and heat at top end and spinning the blower faster.

What you could do is use a mac valve to the BOV and use the BOV to bleed excessive boost. Still spins the blowers faster and adds heat but at least the boost ain’t getting to the engine. This is actually what I do on my g37, my rotrex makes 23psi but I’m only making 11psi peak going to the engine. But I make my peak 11psi at like 4500rpm then flatlined to 7700rpm.
