the fit looks horrific. but i can see the appeal of the style. definitely looks good from far away, but far from looking good close up!

I actually used to like that bumper until I saw it in person.

The "grill" portion that's actually perforated on a Lexus? Solid here

The black grill trim around the edge that's a separate (usually chromed) part on a Lexus? Not separate, the paint shop has to mask it off and spray it separately.

The fitment looked real crappy too and I was surprised since Aimgain seems like a legit company

Owner thinks it's a rep part. Fully aware fitment isn't great, I recall he mentioned he bolted it up the night before and still needs work to get it fitting how he wanted.

More just excited to come out since we have been slacking on local club meets this year

I think the Lexus grille looks absolutely awful on the 86.

it suffers from the same problem that lexus itself had. if the car was NOT designed with that grille in mind, it does not look good.

and even then they match better on an actual Lexus.

I personally like the Lexus grilles, they have this neat three dimensional effect that you can see in person that you do not get in photos...but this just doesnt work at all.

Just because it can be done, doesnt mean it should

Yeah...they could just pay double, sacrifice the MT and buy the actual RWD car that the second GR86 was cloned from...the RC-F.

They wouldn't have to mod the front bumper for that Lexus spindle either.

Had some PDR work done to the driverside door. Upper left side between the mirror and fender. They also gave me a quote for the entire car which I declined @ 1k

All of this happened one weekend at the cottage from acornes falling onto the car

Installed the GKTech angle kit, replaced a whole bunch of worn parts that were causing issues-- input shaft cover, throwout bearing, Exedy stage 2 clutch, shift fork, pivot ball.... it was nuts... the previous input shaft cover had a valley then a peak then a valley that rose back up to the normal height-- it was causing the throwout bearing to catch and not let the car get out of gear. The clutch pedal was super stiff but still slightly functioned.. Now everything is back to normal and smooooooth. No shuddering or jerking, easy to get back into gear and such. It's like a new car!

The door ding is completely gone, which is what drove me crazy.

I left the rest alone. They're hard to see unless you catch them at the right angle/lighting.

Comp insurance wouldn't cover them? Seems no different than hail damage would be..

Nothing special just some new floormats. Found these cheap alternative I can scuff up rather than my fresh oem mats. I think they look nice black.
