I had some issues with belts awhile back, namely they would wear funny and then one of the bands (closest to the block) would separate from the rest of the belt. I checked all my pulleys carefully and found an idler pulley had a burst seal, and that caused it be out of alignment with the other pulleys. Replaced the pulley and I’ve been going strong for six months of daily driving (about 6k miles). The belts had previously only lasted to 1 month (1k miles) before breaking.

I do have the Edelbrock kit, so ymmv, but I found my belt breaking issue to be bad idler pulleys.

Thanks! Mine has been fixed by replacing one of the idler pulleys as well! 4k miles strong so far!

Sprintex nor Jon Bond are replaying to my inquires. I am looking for torque specifications.

My unit was previously owned. The oil leaks onto my rotors and is the reason why the intake manifold and intercooler were full of gunk.

https://imgur.com/a/BM3Otwh

According to the manual (https://www.innovatemotorsports.com/...tercooled_.pdf):

Pulley to nose/pulley hub = 12Nm
Throttle body to Manifold = 12Nm
Manifold to Engine = 25Nm

According to Sprintex (from past emails):

Drive extension/nose and oil sump to Supercharger face = 23Nm

Unfortunately, I can't find specs for the Supercharger to the intercooler/manifold or any of the internals.

Is this related to this issue?

When doing autox my belt on my crank pulley slipped off one notch towards the engine and was making a horrible noise. Fortunately I made it home and figured out the issue. Shortly after that I replaced all the pulleys with the RaceSeng Revo 7 package and haven't had an issue since. Got the green K061015HD Gates belt that is heavier duty which will hopefully last longer as the prior one that was a few years old wasn't looking very good.

I typically check when cold. It's such a tiny area that I don't think there would be much difference when hot (oil over the parts more) vs cold (all oil on the bottom).

I usually have to put in a tiny amount every month so I'd recommend checking it once a month or maybe 3 at the most. I see a little oil around the top where the stick goes occasionally as the pressure pushes some out. I've also tried a vented bolt instead of the stick but it was actually worse and pushed oil out the vent.

Anyone know if the Sprintex will fit on the new gen2 BRZ/GR86? Only the bore is different but if the manifold is the same as gen1 then it should work. Most everything else uses the same parts it seems from the look at it in the videos from Savagegeese.

Newish person here I've been reading through this thread for a few months making notes of stuff. We installed a 210 intercooled kit on my wife's BRZ a couple of months ago with the stock pulley and just a Borla catback on the car and Ecuteck tuned by Delicious Tuning. Now we are starting to gather parts to support the 69mm pulley we have for it, so any recommendations are welcome. Not really going for specific dyno numbers since the car is an Auto and all dyno's are different just want a fun car to play with. I have my turbo Cobra to chase numbers with.

Decided to take the BRZ to a 1/8th mile about 25 minutes from our house. Being an auto with just the kit 75mm pulley and a borla catback as the only power I was going to be happy with a 9.5 or less. I know this isn't what these cars are made for but it's all in the fun of getting out and having fun with the car.

First run heat the car was heat soaked from the 85 degree temp and drive there. second run was the best after I let it cool down for about an hour and a half.

BPV

Has anyone tried to run an aftermarket BPV on this supercharger? Or tried to switch to a BOV? If so what worked for you and was there any performance increases after tuning?
