Bang for the buck coilovers

2015 BRZ Series. Blue

Use:
1. Daily Driver
2. once or twice every month on the track

Want:
1. comfortable ride
2. good performance
3. lowered 1.5-2ish inchs

Price:
About 1-3k, but not really have a price range, cause I can wait/save up.
But over anything, I want good coilovers for the price more than the most expensive high end coilovers.

BC Racing, Tien, KW, Eibach, ST Suspensions, HKS, Apexi

Tein Z flex has a good rep as a decent cheap performance coilover. If you are looking for performance I'd suggest that a 2" drop is probably too much.

Definitely the Flex Z. Comes with the most features, lowering, comfort, and adjustability for the price.

Next step up would be RSRs or KWV3s.

RCE T0 would be a good option too.

$3k can get you very far if you're just getting coils...

I would recommend talking to @Jason@DSG about the DSG edition fortune autos. I was going to see if I can write a review on them today at work actually haha. I will keep it short for this post but I spent over a year picking the coilovers I wanted and was in the same boat as you. I settled on the FA500's with all the bells and whistles and was about to order them the day Jason recommend I take a look at his coilovers. So I did and they checked all the boxes especially the fact I could get the amsoil shock fluid in them and that was not an option from the other vendor I was going to order from. Okay so fast forward to today I have had them on the car for a week now and have been blown away with them. I am still on my winter tires and I did install some chassis bracing at the same time but did keep the alignment to factory spec and factory height until my summer wheels go on. I started with the setting on 5 from soft and the ride was stiffer for sure but not uncomfortable at all. It was exactly the feel I was looking for. It was a bit rough over train tracks and other large bumps until I set it to 12 clicks from soft and now the springs are much much better controlled and it is actually more comfortable around town with very little sacrifice in highway comfort. I am also blown away with the performance even on my winter tires. Another reason to pick the FA500's is you can call fortune auto and get a real person that know what they are talking about on the phone and there are a number of upgrade paths you can take if you ever need to. They are also rebuild-able in the USA so no shipping to Japan or elsewhere (big plus for me) They also do custom spring rates and custom valving (another big plus for me as I plan on owning a few different spring-rates)

I guess I didnt keep it very short haha PM me if you got any specific questions

TL;DR DSG edition FA500's
