That's strange, considering the OEM lights are interchangeable. If they changed the mounts, wouldn't that mean they wouldn't fit either car?

For what the rep was stating the mounting brackets on the top were designed to fit only the FRS, i could not verify this because most of the 86 there were either FRS's or had their hoods closed. I myself questioned why everything would not be the same that is the answer he gave me so we will wait to see.
