Fujitsubo Authorize V exhaust

I visited the Fujitsubo factory in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan, and saw this exhaust on display in their showroom:

Basically, the exhaust has a bypass valve that is activated based on GPS signal. If the car is below 60km/h then the valve is closed. When it's above 60km/h the valve is open and maximum flow is achieved.

The GPS only determines vehicle speed, so there are no territorial limitations.

Fujitsubo makes this in both the single tip version (pictured) or dual tip version that is the same design as the more popular Authorize R exhaust.

Good design for anyone wanting an exhaust that is quiet(er) at low speeds, especially coming out of residential complexes. And no tuning required.

GPS sounds = expensive. And many times i'm on relatively slow tracks where speed below 60 is not that rare. There are road portions with 70kmh max in city too. And there is sometimes wish for some Loud elsewhere from get go. I'd love to get reasonably priced exhaust with prefitted valve though to skip welding / modifying mufflers / adding extra pipes to exhaust not designed for such though, but if it will cost what i predict it will, i'm not that rich

MSRP in Japan is only about JPY 20000 more than the current Authorize R.

I'm waiting for a reply on pricing but it will probably be around $1500 US MSRP considering current Authorize R is $1300 MSRP.

Yes you can weld in your own valve but this is a complete system with GPS unit and wiring.

Imho nothing bad with being single tip. If anything it looks more function & purpose / less posing. Also reason why quad tips look lame to me for four-banger and single pipe/muffler in-between. Still, i'd prefer simple switch activated and gps-less setup for some .. 100-300$ less (no clue, how much gps controller costs).
