I'm going to assume that was aimed at me, so here's your answer: Roads here in Hawaii suck, traffic is monstrous (2nd worst in the country behind LA), and it was going to cost too much to set the car back to road-legal status (hawaii is more anal-retentive than Cali when it comes to stupid motoring requirements). So I bought a 4 door DSG GTI because I loved the 09 GTI I had and the DSG is great for traffic but still amazing when I want to have fun. There's about 1 or 2 times a month when I miss the FRS, mostly I miss the S/C whine and the ridiculous tail-happy nature of the car. |

I just patched up my custom tune to hopefully fix the knock. I should hopefully be getting my stock header replacement (@Juggles I owe you big time and will have a case of beer for you tonight) And all gaskets in. So if anyone is free tomorrow and feels like giving me a hand, I'd appreciate it.
I will be loading up the stock tune here in a bit and trying to get the closed loop LTFT and STFT to stabilize. Will be there tonight, Exhaust leak from header and all. As for the mods... I've stayed mostly stock. Overpipe, AEM intake, modded snorkle (free), and an OFT. I don't even have cosmetic mods minus a shark fin and coin plate thing
